POSITION SUMMARY

Bin Fadel Holding is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the finance team in day-to-day operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and knowledge of accounting principles and UAE regulatory requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification and payment processing.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, petty cash, and intercompany transactions.
  • Support payroll processing and ensure proper accounting of employee-related expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, VAT returns, and other statutory requirements.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Maintain accurate financial records for audits and management reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting issues and provide financial insights.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, or CMA is an advantage).
  • 2–4 years of proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Proven experience in maintaining family accounts is preferred.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
