OVERVIEW

One Accord Global is a Real Estate Investment company specializing in acquiring, renovating, and managing investment properties, primarily single-family homes. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant/Bookkeeper to manage the financial operations of the company. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial tracking, managing payroll, overseeing vendor payments, and providing insights that directly contribute to profitability and investor confidence.

MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Proven experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper, preferably within real estate, banking, construction, or investment industries.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP compliance, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar).
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple financial tasks and deadlines with efficiency.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience in real estate or property management.
  • Familiarity with fix-and-flip, buy-and-hold, and other real estate investment models.
  • Experience preparing financial reports for investors or executive leadership.
  • Associated Degree in Accounting (minimum).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
  • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including issuing checks to vendors, contractors, and employees.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.
  • Track project-level and company-wide budgets to monitor profitability and financial health.
  • Provide financial reporting and analysis to leadership, highlighting opportunities to save costs and maximize returns on investments.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting, aligning financial plans with company growth and ROI goals.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax preparation and filings.
  • Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, etc.) for efficient and accurate bookkeeping.
  • Support company leadership by delivering clear, timely, and actionable financial insights.
