ABOUT US

We are a fast-growing restaurant group operating eight locations under two concepts in Alberta. We’re known for delivering exceptional guest experiences and strong leadership. We’re hiring an experienced Accountant / Bookkeeper to manage accounting, payroll, and financial controls across our locations.

Accounting & Bookkeeping:

• Use QuickBooks Online to manage general ledger, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
• Process and track invoices using MarginEdge
• Reconcile POS sales from two different systems
• Oversee intercompany transfers, deposits, and cash flow reporting
• Support month-end and year-end closings

Payroll:

• Coordinate bi-weekly payroll with a third-party provider
• Track time, tip pooling, holiday pay, and year-end T4s
• Ensure payroll compliance with Alberta Employment Standards
• Assist with ROEs, new hire onboarding, and payroll audits

Audits & Controls:

• Review food, liquor, and third-party invoices (e.g., SkipTheDishes, Uber Eats)
• Match daily deposits and POS reports
• Assist with inventory audits and cost-of-goods analysis

Reporting & Insights:

• Create P&L reports, budgets, and variance analysis
• Identify trends to help reduce costs and improve profit margins
• Collaborate directly with ownership on financial strategy
