Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to support finance operations for a short-term assignment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing or industrial accounting and will be responsible for daily accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to join immediately and commit to a 2-month term.
  • Based in or willing to commute to Umm Al Quwain.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in inventory and cost accounting.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems in manufacturing environments.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate books of accounts using accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP).
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
  • Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end closing.
  • Generate financial reports and assist in budget tracking.
  • Coordinate with the procurement and production teams to ensure proper costing and inventory records.
  • Support internal audits and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in VAT filings and ensure accurate documentation for tax compliance.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis as required.
