JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, handling VAT filings, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting transactions and general ledger entries
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Perform bank reconciliations and accounts payable/receivable functions
• Monitor budgets and cash flow
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and financial regulations
• Assist in audits and liaise with external auditors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Tally, Odoo, Zoho, etc.)
• Knowledge of UAE VAT laws
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA) is a plus
• Experience with ERP systems (Focus, Odoo, etc.)
