This is a remote position. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (US Eastern Time, Delaware) Total Weekly Hours: 40 Hours Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial operations while building and maintaining strong client relationships. This role combines bookkeeping, payroll processing, and client success activities. You’ll ensure accurate financial records, timely payroll, compliance with U.S. tax regulations, and excellent client support. Responsibilities Manage accurate financial records, invoicing, and account reconciliations Prepare monthly financial reports and statements Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with U.S. tax regulations Handle deductions for benefits and maintain payroll records Support tax preparation and year-end reporting (e.g., W-2s) Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication and support Conduct client check-ins, business reviews, and retention activities Address client concerns and coordinate solutions with internal teams Identify opportunities to expand accounts and drive business growth Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity with all financial data Requirements 3–5 years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and client relationship management Strong knowledge of U.S. tax regulations and compliance Proficiency with QuickBooks, Gusto, and Excel Experience with integrated systems (e.g., QuickBooks + Boostlingo) preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proven ability to build strong client relationships and deliver excellent service Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills Availability to work during U.S. business hours Independent Contractor Perks HMO coverage available for eligible locations Permanent work-from-home arrangement Immediate hiring ZR_27448_JOB
