OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing business needs, optimizing processes, and providing insights that drive strategic decision-making. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and financial services to support our financial operations effectively.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, and Sage to manage financial data.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support corporate finance initiatives, plus responsible for preparing and updating monthly/daily cash flows of revenues, expenses and payments .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Conduct auditing processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Provide support in payroll processing and account analysis as needed.
  • Prepare detailed reports on financial performance and present findings to stakeholders.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a Business Analyst role or similar position within the financial services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices is essential.
  • Familiarity with corporate finance concepts and practices is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using various accounting software tools including QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, Sage, and others relevant to the industry.
  • Demonstrated ability in account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, auditing, budgeting, and payroll processing.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
