• Prior experience in a similar role at least 1 year (Listed company experience)
• Part CPA/CA Qualification or desire to study towards it.
• Ability to work both independently and within a flexible team environment.

• Assisting clients on using accounting software for bookkeeping
• Assisting clients in examining operating costs and formulating budgetary and accounting policies
• Preparation of Business Activity Statements, Instalment Activity Statements and Payroll Tax returns for our clients
• Preparing financial statements and management reports for presentation to clients
• Providing assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements
• Assist in conducting financial investigations, preparing reports, undertaking audits and advising on matters such as the purchase and sale of businesses, mergers, capital financing, suspected fraud
• Assist in providing financial and taxation advice with firm’s partner on business structures, plans and operations
• Assist in preparing taxation returns for individuals and organisations
• Introducing and maintaining accounting systems, and advising on the selection and application of computer-based accounting systems
• Company secretarial work
