ABOUT US:

CbayExpress Corporation is a fast-growing company that works with Amazon sellers and other eCommerce platforms. We are currently looking for an experienced and detail-oriented bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting. This position is ideal for someone with a solid background in accounting and bookkeeping, who can work independently and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, including account receivables, accounts payable, and reconciliations
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with eCommerce businesses (e.g., Amazon, Shopify, etc.) is an asset
  • Familiarity with A2X or other accounting integrations is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Canadian tax regulations (GST/HST, payroll taxes)
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records and perform full-cycle bookkeeping
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and financial records regularly
  • Record and categorize expenses, income, and other financial data in QuickBooks
  • Process payroll and manage employee expense reports
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • File GST/HST returns and support payroll tax filings
  • Communicate with the CRA regarding tax inquiries or notifications
  • Assist with year-end closing and coordinate with external accountants as needed
