Job Description Purpose of the job To accurately process accounting records and eventually prepare elementary financial statements in accordance with IFRS or other designated accounting framework(s). Main responsibilities To conduct the following within prescribed deadlines: Prepare and post final bookkeeping entries required for producing financial statements and management accounts. Provide additional bookkeeping and accounting support to Accounting staff and assist with ad-hoc projects from time to time. Assist with the preparation of client VAT, TDS and other basic Tax Returns. Assist in the filing of financial statements, tax returns and other statutory returns within deadlines. Prepare elementary management accounts and annual financial statements in accordance with appropriate accounting standards from the accounting records of the client entities. #LI-EM1 #LI-Hybrid Qualifications HSC or equivalent Enrol or in the process of enrolling on any Professional Accounting Qualification Knowledge, Skills and Experience Willing to learn NAV, Efront systems and Value Financials software. Ability to learn IFRS as well as any other relevant accounting framework. Use of Word, Excel and Outlook are important. Competencies Attention to detail Possess strong communication skills. A good team player. Ability to deliver under tight deadlines. Ask for assistance whenever required. Willingness to learn and take on additional challenges.
