Part-Time Accountant (3 Days per Week)

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis (3 days per week). This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working independently and keeping financial operations organized and accurate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and ensuring our books are up to date and compliant.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records
• Perform bookkeeping and reconcile bank/credit card accounts
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking
• Prepare and organize documents for tax filings
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Work with management to monitor financial performance and budgets

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• CPA designation or accounting certification is an asset but not required
