Description

Responsibilities Supervise a team to provide full spectrum of accounting and financial support to MTR Lab (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Corporation), and the Corporate Functions of the Corporation Formulate cost control measures, ensure financial control and deliver high-quality financial services in accordance with the accounting standards and the Corporation's policies Support, monitor and facilitate in the preparation of budgets, statutory and management reports, and variance analyses, providing value-adding insights to support business decisions Perform and supervise day-to-day accounting operations including invoicing, billings and payments, processing of funding applications, and other finance-related matters Handle enquiries, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders independently on financial / accounting / business matters Participate in financial system development and other process enhancement initiatives Carry out ad hoc finance-related tasks and projects as assigned Requirements Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration or a related discipline A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience Possession of qualification from a recognised professional accounting body is preferred Experience in preparing full set of accounts is an advantage Able to work independently and under pressure, with strong attention to detail and effective communication and stakeholder management skills Knowledge of Oracle Financial System with prior experience in system development projects is preferred Applications You are invited to apply online via http://www.mtr.com.hk/mtr_job_en or send in your CV stating the position (with reference number) you are applying for by mail to Human Resource Management Department, MTR Corporation, G.P.O.
