Job Description ABOUT YOUR ROLE Be responsible to analyze production costs, accounting for inventory, monitoring and preparing cost analysis report and support budgeting process. This will include providing financial insights for cost management purpose. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Perform SAP operations and month-end closing activities, including cost allocation, settlement, assessment, inventory valuation, material ledger management, and posting of necessary journal entries. Monitor cost movements and prepare detailed cost analysis reports. Participate in physical inventory counts to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory records. Support the pricing and budgeting process by providing updated and accurate cost data. Assist in internal and external audit processes. Coordinate accounting-related matters with other departments and regional locations to ensure alignment and compliance. Undertake additional responsibilities in other functional areas based on skill sets and development opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional qualification. Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems; experience with SAP is an added advantage. Strong knowledge of accounting standards and principles (GAAP / IFRS / MFRS). Possesses strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to improve processes and enhance data accuracy. A collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across various disciplines and stakeholder groups. Able to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken).
