Description

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage and oversee accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UAE financial regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within the UAE or a contracting firm, with a proven track record of managing financial processes and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations and international standards.
Account Management: Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes.
Audit & Compliance: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits. Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE or at least 2 years of experience within a contracting firm.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CA are preferred.
Skills: Proficiency in Xero and advanced MS Excel skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and data analysis.
