We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and providing accurate financial reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in accounting software, particularly Sage Intacct.
  • Ability to conduct thorough account analysis and resolve discrepancies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proven experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
  • Proficient in payroll software, particularly ADP.
  • Post-secondary education in accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel.
  • Bilingualism is an asset.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

  • Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation for audits.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting procedures and improve efficiency.
  • Support accounts payable, including invoice verification and payment processing.
  • Support payroll processing.
