Our client in the manufacturing industry has an exciting opportunity for an Accountant! This position is newly created and will report into the Controller while focusing on the full accounting cycle, including budgeting, reporting, payroll backup and more! This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to progress to a Controller level role.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years’ in a similar role
• Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Strong communication skills

• Oversee full accounting cycle including month end, cost accounting and more
• Financial reporting
• Act as backup for processing payroll
• Support month end and year end processes
• Prepare budget and financial forecasts
• Documentation of processes and improvements
• Other adhoc duties as assigned by Controller
