Description
Take full responsibility for the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Manage all bookkeeping duties, including sales and purchase ledgers, invoicing, payments and bank reconciliations.
Process and oversee payroll for up to 100 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Maintain financial records using Sage accounting software.
Prepare accounts to trial balance stage and produce accurate monthly management accounts.
Manage VAT returns, financial reconciliations and statutory reporting requirements.
Monitor cash flow, expenditure, budgets and financial performance.
Analyse revenue, costs and profit margins across the hotel's various departments, including accommodation, weddings, events, food and beverage, and spa services.
Work closely with senior management to identify cost savings, improve profitability and support commercial decision-making.
Provide financial insight, forecasting and recommendations to support the hotel's continued growth.
