• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Process journal entries and ensure proper documentation.
• Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable:
• Monitor supplier invoices, payments, and credit notes.
• Generate customer invoices and follow up on receivables.
• Reconcile vendor and customer accounts monthly.
• Banking & Reconciliations:
• Prepare bank reconciliations for all accounts.
• Record bank transactions and investigate discrepancies.
• Financial Reporting:
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support management with ad hoc financial reports and analysis.
• VAT & Compliance:
• Prepare and file VAT returns as per UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Audit Support:
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Prepare audit schedules and provide supporting documentation.
• Payroll:
• Process monthly payroll entries in the accounting system (if applicable).
• Reconcile payroll with bank and ledger.
• Fixed Assets:
• Maintain fixed asset register.
• Record depreciation and asset disposal entries
