KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Tertiary qualifications in accountancy or related field
  • English and Mandarin bilingual language skills are essential
  • Min 2 years’ experience as an Accountant
  • Strong MYOB or Attaché and Excel skills
  • Great attention to detail

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your focus will be coordinating and gathering information relating to Company’s finances to preparing financial documents. Based in Sydney the company’s accountant main responsibilities will be (not limited to):

  • Plan and assist in implementing company accounting policies
  • Provide financial status of the company by preparing special reports as requested by the management; completing special projects. Provide financial and tax advice on company structure, business plans and operations
  • Reconcile general and subsidiary business bank accounts by gathering and balancing information
  • Maintain financial records by analysing balance sheets and general ledger accounts
  • Record and review operating costs. Monitor company income and expenditure to ensure that the company is running in healthy condition
  • Preparation of detailed budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • Accurate and timely completion of month-end close-off, reconciliation and reporting, and Year End preparations
  • Overseeing payroll matters for staff; payment and reconciliation of superannuation; payroll tax calculations and payment
  • Ensure security of company financial information by completing database backups; keeping information confidential
  • Take ownership of work and initiative to go above and beyond
