Description
The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks dynamic, high-calibre and experienced professionals to join our Finance & Accounts Department. Responsibilities: * Support monthly projection, and quarter‑end and year‑end closing, including preparing schedules, reconciliations, and audit documentation. * Prepare financial reports, management analyses, budgets, and forecasts as required. * Handle AP/AR operations, including invoice processing, staff claims, billing, payments and receipts, and maintain accurate and timely records. * Perform bank reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies promptly. * Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control requirements. * Contribute to workflow enhancements and support system or process improvement initiatives. * Undertake ad hoc duties and assignments as needed.   Requirements: * University graduate or holder of a recognised accounting qualification.  * Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in professional firms or commercial organisations.   * Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting; exposure to PRC accounting and taxation practices is an advantage. * Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and good problem‑solving skills. * Responsible, well‑organised, and able to work independently under pressure. * Good communication skills with good command of written English and Chinese. * Proficient in MS Office applications; knowledge of Oracle or other ERP systems is preferred.   Remuneration and Benefits: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.   Application Procedure: Interested candidates are invited to complete the application form on our website.
