• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Record daily financial transactions into the accounting system.
• Assist in reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Help identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in preparing reports related to profit and loss, balance sheets, and other financial statements.
• Ensure all accounting data is properly entered into financial software.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation for all financial transactions.
• Help prepare necessary documents for tax filings and returns.
• Assist with other regulatory compliance tasks related to taxes.
• Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation.
• Assist senior accountants with various ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting department.
• Use accounting software TALLY for processing transactions and generating reports.
• Maintain and update accounting records and systems.
