Description

Key Responsibilities

  • You will take a leading role in month-end processes, including preparing financial accounts, reconciliations, and management reporting, while ensuring all statutory obligations such as BAS, PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation, FBT, and income tax requirements are completed accurately and on time.
  • Oversight of accounts receivable and payable, cash flow management, and maintaining balance sheet integrity. You will support audit processes, liaise with external auditors and advisors, and respond to queries from stakeholders across the business.
  • Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

A key focus will be delivering meaningful financial insights through gross profit reporting, productivity analysis, budgeting, and scenario modelling to support operational and strategic decision-making. You will also contribute to strengthening financial controls, improving systems and reporting, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

You will provide guidance to finance and payroll colleagues and help foster a collaborative, high-performing environment.


About You

You bring at least five years’ experience in a similar role, supported by a relevant degree and CA or CPA qualification. You have strong technical accounting capability, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You are a proactive and reliable professional with strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organisation. With a practical, solutions-focused mindset and sound professional judgement, you are confident translating financial data into clear, actionable insights.

Requirements

  • Five or more years experience in similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field | CA or CPA qualification or working towards
  • Experience in preparation of monthly financial accounts
  • Strong technical and numerical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience using Xero and PowerBI advantageous
