We pride ourselves on our innovative approach and commitment to excellence. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with FMCG experience to join our finance team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting our financial planning and analysis processes. Your experience in the FMCG industry will be invaluable as you work to optimize our financial operations and contribute to our growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with ERP systems and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with international accounting standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Conduct monthly and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Monitor inventory accounting and cost of goods sold (COGS) to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Support internal audits and collaborate with external auditors as needed.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and financial planning.
  • Maintain and improve financial controls and processes.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to management.
