JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations, focusing on the management of billing processes and the efficient handling of account receivables. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a knack for numbers and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as an accounting assistant or in a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and debt collection regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions).
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
  • Professional manner and strong ethical code.
  • Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
  • Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.

EDUCATION:

  • Associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable.
  • Complete purchase orders and manage billing and invoicing.
  • Ensure the timely collection of payments.
  • Monitor client accounts for irregularities and delayed payments.
  • Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets.
  • Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Support monthly payroll and keep organized records.
  • Conduct routine administrative tasks to support the accounting department.
