Position Overview: As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for a diverse array of duties, including but not limited to:

  • Preparation of Annual Statements of Accounts, Tax Returns, and supporting schedules in strict accordance with AASB and ASIC guidelines.
  • Delivering insightful presentations of Annual Reports and Management Reports to boards of directors, management, and key stakeholders.
  • Handling the meticulous preparation of individual tax returns, partnership returns, trust tax returns, and company tax returns, ensuring full compliance with ATO regulations.
  • Conducting thorough due diligence and audits for financial investigations, providing expert reports on matters relating to the purchase and sale of businesses, capital financing, insolvency, and taxation.
  • Formulating and implementing budgetary and accounting policies to enhance financial governance and performance.
  • Offering expert guidance on the selection and implementation of computer-based accounting systems to streamline operations and drive efficiency.

Skills & Requirements: To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Accounting Firm.
  • Proficiency in financial software such as MYOB, Xero or QuickBooks
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (CPA or CA qualification preferred)

Pay: $74,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
