Reporting to the local Head of accounting, the accountant is responsible for accounting of receivables, preparation of reminders to customers and management of cash collection, including legal actions. Manages properly procedure of refund of travel expenses to employees (sales and technical staff), supports colleagues of accounting payables in their daily activity and in the determination of periodical cost accruals. Supports Head of accounting in head of month/year reporting activities.
This position is part of the Finance department located in Lainate (MI) and will be on site, with possibility of smart working 2 days per week.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Posting customers’ incoming payments
• Monitoring of overdue and preparation of reminders
• Discussion with lawyer of specific bad debts situations
• Interactions with sales and technical staff for proper management of travel expenses refunds
• Analysis of suppliers’ invoices
• Calculation of periodical accruals
• General Ledger posting

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Accounting qualifications (“Diploma di Ragioneria” o equivalente)
• At least 5 years experience in similar role in international / Italian company with formal organization
• Proficiency in English language
• Proficiency in Windows Office package (Word and most of all Excel)
• Proficiency in state of the art ERP software (Preferred: Oracle)

L’esperto contabilità è responsabile della corretta registrazione degli incassi dalla clientela, della tenuta dello scadenzario, dei solleciti a clienti, del recupero crediti e della gestione del contenzioso. Gestisce il rimborso delle spese sostenute dai dipendenti nelle trasferte, assicurando il rispetto delle procedure, e supporterà la contabilità fornitori nella gestione delle fatture passive e nella determinazione degli stanziamenti mensili e di fine anno. Supporta il responsabile amministrativo, cui dipende direttamente, nell’attività di reportistica mensile. Lavorerà nella sede di Lainate (MI) con possibilità di smart working due giorni a settimana.
