Job Title: Accountant
Employment Type: Full-time (38 hours per week)
Salary: AUD $70,000 – AUD $80,000 per annum (plus superannuation)

Due to growth and expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-3 years’ experience within an accounting firm, working in a similar role.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate must be a self-motivated and driven professional who:

• Has at least 1-3 years’ practical accounting experience and has the relevant degree in accounting or finance;
• Degree in accounting or finance;
• Aiming towards undertaking, or currently completing CA/CPA qualifications;
• Has attention to detail;
• Is able to provide efficient and effective client service;
• Has the ability to work proactively;
• Is highly organised with strong time management skills;
• Has great communication skills, both verbal and written; and
• Has a positive and enthusiastic approach.

Your role as a graduate accountant will be responsible for:

• Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements;
• Assisting with the preparation of income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships;
• Assisting with the preparation of BAS and IAS;
• Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns for SMSF’s.
