ACCOUNTANT (HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY)

Assist Finance Business Partner / FP&A of GP clinic on Manage full set accounts of HMI Medical group of entities, this includes but not limited to :

  • Cash / bank accounts management and review of bank reconciliation
  • Maintain and ensure completeness of balance sheet schedules
  • Prepare monthly intercompany reconciliations and perform clarifications
  • Ensure accuracy and timely delivery for month-end / year-end closing, preparation and submission of monthly management accounts and group reporting package as per reporting timelines
  • Generate monthly department P/L and analysis against budget and prior year
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company / group accounting policies & procedures
  • Liaise with external auditors, oversee & facilitate audit process for annual financial audit, including preparation of financial statements
  • Liaise with tax agents and handle corporate tax & quarterly GST submissions
  • Liaise with external corporate secretarial for corporate secretarial matters and ensure compliance with Companies Act and relevant statutory requirements
  • Assist in preparation of monthly rolling forecast reports & cash flow forecast reports
  • Assist in annual budgeting activities and preparation of budget reports
  • Develop, maintain, and update Spreadsheets templates to ensure functionality and usability.
  • Support the accounts team by handling queries for Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL)
  • Support any other ad-hoc tasks as required

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualifications: Minimum O-Level, diploma in Accounting (or relevant experience).
  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in data entry, accounts, or administrative support.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Business Central).Good organizational and time management skills.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior experience in accounts or finance administration .
  • Familiarity with healthcare finance or multi-clinic operations .
