Key responsibilities include:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a diverse range of duties including but not limited to the following:

  • Apply professional accounting, financial and taxation knowledge in the development and maintenance of client affairs
  • Provide exceptional service to clients through relationship management and effective communication;
  • Prepare tax returns, financial statements, BAS and IAS for all entity types;
  • Provide knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements and ensure compliance is maintained;
  • Liaising with the ATO;
  • Helping to identify, research and resolve all complex accounting issues;
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the services provided by the firm

Relevant experience/qualifications:

To be successful in your application and this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Business / Commerce Degree with Accounting Major
  • CPA or CA qualification 
  • Minimum 3+ years public practice experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Taxation Law;
  • Comprehensive computer skills including knowledge of various accounting software;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
