Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the month-end close process, including:
  • Financial statement preparation
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Review of daily income journals
  • Invoice review and preparation of check runs
  • Payment of all applicable taxes
  • Recording transactions on NetSuite
  • Handling various owner and property requests as needed

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in accounting
  • Experience with financial statement preparation
  • Multi-property accounting experience
  • Strong judgment, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage financials effectively and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)

Preferred:

  • 1–2 years of professional accounting experience
  • Hotel industry experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of accounting software or applications
