Job Title: Accountant
Location: Dubai (on-site)
Job Responsibilities:
The Accountant will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, including fixed and variable expenses, bank deposits, and budgeting. The role involves ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with tax regulations, and maintaining financial records. The key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Transactions & Reporting:
* Manage all accounting transactions and ensure accurate financial records.
* Prepare budget forecasts and financial statements.
* Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
* Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
2. Bank Reconciliation & Payments:
* Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
* Ensure timely processing of payments and bank deposits.
3. Auditing & Analysis:
* Audit financial documents and transactions.
* Identify and correct numerical errors in financial statements.
* Report on the company’s financial health, liquidity, and cash flows.
4. Process Improvement & Collaboration:
* Improve accounting systems and processes.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless financial operations.
Required Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Experience: 2-3 years of work experience as an Accountant.
* Preferably Female candidates with own visa.
Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
* Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
* Experience with general ledger functions and financial reporting.
Soft Skills:
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and ensure accuracy in financial records.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience in financial analysis and reporting.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
This role is crucial in maintaining financial accuracy and ensuring compliance with laws. The Accountant will play a key role in the financial health of the company, working closely with various departments to provide insightful financial data and reporting.
