Description
We have a great opportunity for an Accountant to join a well-established group of companies. In this role, you will be responsible for the management of day-to-day accounting operations. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong technical knowledge who can thrive in a dynamic, multi-entity iGaming business. The right candidate for the role must have extensive experience from working within igaming in Malta. Salary: €48-55K depending on experience Roles & Responsibilities Maintain accurate accounting records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals Prepare and review balance sheet and income statement schedules Assist with monthly and year-end closing, ensuring compliance with IFRS Prepare financial statements and regulatory filings Liaise with auditors and tax advisors Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payrolls, and transactions Education, Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance Professional certification (ACCA, CFA, or CPA) is required for to be considered for the higher end of the salary 5+ years of accounting experience, of which 3+ years in iGaming - non-negotiable Experience from working with international multi-entity companies Experience of working in Malta and handling reporting with Maltese authorities Fluency in English (written and spoken) Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory reporting requirements in the EU Proficient with ERP systems Able to work independently and coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and external advisors Excellent attention to detail, organized, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment About the Role Salary €48-55K Professional certification (ACCA, CFA, or CPA) is required for to be considered for the higher end of the salary Based in St Julian's, Malta Hybrid-remote opportunity Standard working hours 8:00 - 17:00 (including lunch break) Lunch vouchers (=free lunch) Health insurance contribution €400/year Opportunity to work within a growing, international iGaming group Collaborative and dynamic team environment Apply with your detailed CV, please. *JobMatchingPartner Limited is a recruitment agency licenced in Malta, EU with licence no EA00340-2024.
