Description
‎ Prepare, analyze and interpret moderately complex financial statements in adherence with statutory and/or generally accepted accounting principles or other accepted accounting principles (tax or cash basis). Perform additional financial, accounts payable and/or cash management duties and provide information as requested to ensure accuracy and timeliness in meeting deadlines, including scheduled financial analysis and financial packets. Additional duties may include automating accounting processes, preparing projected cash flow, budgeting, preparing divisional financials or preparing financial information for regulatory and rating agencies as well as financial information used in product spread analysis, asset liability matching and credit concern determination. Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related major field of study required 3-5 years of accounting experience at a level equivalent to this position Strong accounting functions; preparation of journal entries and financial statement preparation preferred Knowledge in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel required Knowledge of statutory and/or GAAP accounting Strong data analytics, communications and organizational skills Aptitude for learning new systems and understanding capabilities and configuration Corporate Careers | Sales Careers | Internships | APL American Fidelity is a certified Great Place to Work for All!
