REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Good knowledge of SAP ERP systems (FI-FA-CO-SD).
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in French, English. Speaking also Italian is considered a plus.
  • Proven leadership and analytical skills.
  • At least 5 years’ experience working in professional/ tax consultants or structured multinational company.
  • Accounting knowledge and France GAAP
  • Sound knowledge on various statutory requirements and regulations.
Responsibilities

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for assigned general ledger accounts including account reconciliation. Compiles and analyses financial information to prepare journal entries and document business transactions. Review and audit account activity and follow up with internal customers regarding unusual account activity.
  • Performs fixed asset accounting including asset acquisitions, disposal, and transfers. Prepares required schedules to be used in month-end closing processes and management reporting.
  • Responsible for period closing activities including processing of standard adjusting and closing entries, depreciation posting and preparation of schedules to be used for legal financial statement preparation. Prepares routine monthly reports.
  • Responsible to guarantee properly compliance to France VAT/ TAXES and statutory law requirements for all accounting transactions.
  • Maintains annual operating budgets for corporate functions. Responsible for daily activities including reviewing and approving account classifications/ reclassifications, posting entries, allocations as well as other miscellaneous tasks. Collect and evaluate data, conduct analysis and prepare reports and recommendations for assigned projects.
  • Performs special projects as assigned.

OTHER TASKS:

  • Other tasks assigned by management on supporting company strategic initiatives.
