Ready to make every transaction count? We’re looking for a new Accountant who thrives on technical precision and organizational excellence. A little taste of your day-to-day: Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:  ● Leading Ledger Integrity: Managing the general ledger and performing comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations to ensure 100% data accuracy.  ● Driving the Monthly Close: Taking full ownership of month-end and year-end closing cycles, ensuring all journals and adjustments are processed according to strict deadlines.  ● Tax & Statutory Compliance: Preparing VAT returns, tax filings, and ensuring all financial activities remain compliant with local statutory regulations and internal benchmarks.  ● Asset Oversight: Maintaining the fixed asset register, managing depreciation schedules, and overseeing capital expenditure record-keeping.  ● Banking & Treasury: Managing bank reconciliations, monitoring daily liquidity, and ensuring healthy cash flow cycles for the property. What we need from you: ● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification  ● Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role or a professional audit environment.  ● Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with enterprise accounting systems  ● Communication: Must speak fluent Portuguese and English and be able to communicate financial complexities clearly to colleagues.
