• Assist in the month-end close process and other assigned department tasks.
• Ensure data integrity for assigned accounts, with a focus on upstream internal controls over financial reporting.
• Book monthly journal entries and prepare related account reconciliations.
• Investigate and communicate reporting discrepancies in a clear and timely manner.
• Manage the preparation of monthly financial analytics and report on variances versus plan and prior periods to internal business partners and management.
• Assist in the development of SOX-compliant documentation for internal controls.
• Support external audit requests and actively maintain General Ledger accounts.
• Collaborate with other departments, including FP&A, Accounts Payable, IT, and Supply Chain, to support business processes.
• Consistently evaluate areas for process improvement and automation.
• Provide support on special projects for the Senior Manager.
• Participate in ad hoc accounting or finance projects and analysis as assigned.
