This function requires well developed skills in accounting, business analysis, and process improvement. The successful candidate will have an ability to thrive in an environment of rapid change; work effectively within cross-functional teams; will be highly resourceful; able to deliver strong results; have a passion for operational excellence, and possess a strong set of communication and analytical skills.   What You’ll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities): * Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts while documenting business transactions. * Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities and expenses and assist in preparing the balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position for other managers. * Download and compile daily stock variance reports for review and use by the Inventory Control team. * Partner with Cross-Campus Accounting teams and Cross-Functional business partners to reconcile all inventory variances. * Process manual inventory transactions that are not completed via integration with the 3PL Network when warranted. * Work closely with business partners on the Trinity campus as well as the Tempur Production facilities to reconcile intercompany balances for inventory purchases. * Work cross functionally with Sourcing & Finance Ops to analyze the Warehouse section of the P&L. * Maintain a complete system for Inventory Control which provides consistent, reliable, and timely information to management for decision-making and which is flexible and dynamic enough to evolve with changing business needs. * Coordinate cross-functionally with other departments on business objectives. * Perform account reconciliations. * Prepare documentation to assist internal and external auditors. * Participate in cycle count audits and physical inventories at Tempur DCs/Tempur Retail Stores throughout the continental US. * Support management through ad-hoc reporting, analysis and special projects, as assigned. * Possible Late Nights and Weekends required. * Perform other duties as assigned.
