JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team, preferably with Mental Health Clinic Experience , with knowledge in Reconciliation of Insurance claim,knowledge in Finalization of total account and preferably with Own Visa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in various accounting software. The Accountant will play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis to support the organization’s financial health.

SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) accounting practices is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial modeling.
  • Experience with public accounting or non-profit accounting preferred.
  • Understanding of securities law and governmental accounting principles.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial reports and communicate findings effectively.
  • Strong acumen in cash flow analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and financial management concepts.
  • Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping principles including debits & credits.
  • Experience with auditing processes and account analysis techniques.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Conduct account reconciliations, including balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger accounting.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Perform tax preparation and compliance for various entities.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Mentor junior staff members in accounting practices and software usage.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft for efficient financial management.
