QUALIFICATIONS AND PRE-REQUISITES:

• 3-5 years of senior-level accounting experience; CPA designation or in progress preferred
• Strong knowledge of Canadian GAAP and NPO accounting
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, Power Queries); Power BI an asset
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting software and financial reporting
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

• Full-cycle accounting including general ledger, AP/AR, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Monthly and year-end reporting, schedules, and audit support
• Processing payments, recording receipts, and reconciling bank, credit card, and investment accounts
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring GAAP compliance
• Identifying process improvements to increase efficiency
