As an Accountant in our Finance team, you will be responsible for various financial activities, including accounting, financial reporting, and analysis. You will work closely with the finance team to maintain accurate financial records and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in accounting.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a finance career.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist with the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct variance analysis between actual results, budgets, and forecasts, providing insights to management.
  • Support financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting projects.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Process journal entries, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor payments, invoicing, and follow-ups on outstanding balances.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, preparing supporting documentation as required.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and financial regulations.
  • Support tax compliance and preparation of filings as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data accuracy.
