Our client, a dynamic and growing company committed to excellence in civil engineering, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Accountant to join the finance team. Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records in compliance with regulatory standards. Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax filings. Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies. Collaborate with auditors and other departments to streamline financial processes. Requirements A 2.1 degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 3 years of proven experience in accounting or a similar role. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or equivalent). Strong knowledge of Nigerian Financial Reporting Standards (NFRS) and relevant tax regulations (e.g., Companies Income Tax Act, VAT Act). Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Professional certification such as ICAN or ANAN is a plus but not required.
