COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent Attention to detail

  • Good Communication Skills (Fluency in English essential)
  • Strong Technical Accounting Skills

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Qualified Accountant with at least 1 year PQE
  • Experience in producing accounts from primary records
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and good working knowledge of other MS Office applications
  • Experience with MS Dynamics an advantage

Responsibilities

Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts (Full P&L and Balance Sheet) including:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Retailer discount reconciliations
  • Month-end journals and accruals
  • Review of debtor and creditor ledgers
  • Profit & Loss variance analysis

Preparation of weekly KPI reports including:

  • Review of daily and weekly manufacturing yield calculations
  • Review of weekly labour costs calculation
  • Calculation of weekly sales values
  • Estimated weekly profitability
  • Preparation of annual budget (incl. liaison with all other departments within the organisation)
  • Maintain and update product costing data and customer profitability analysis
  • Liaison with external auditors to ensure completion of annual audit
  • Completion and submission of VAT returns

As this is a role covering all aspects of the business, any ad hoc reports as required
