Job Details Why this job is important We are seeking a dynamic Accountant to join our team in Cairo. You’ll be central to our finance operations, ensuring our records are meticulous and our tax and audit processes run smoothly. Your insights and attention to detail will help us make informed decisions and stay ahead in a fast-changing environment. What you’ll be doing Completing monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports, and recommending tax strategies to support our business goals. Organising and maintaining accurate financial records and preparing documentation for tax inspections. Collaborating with colleagues in the accounting department and external auditors to drive efficient audit processes. Staying up to date with industry trends and changes in tax and audit requirements, sharing valuable insights with the team. Overseeing invoice recording and reconciliation between our accounting and tax e-invoicing systems. Preparing monthly reports and analyses of expense accounts. Performing bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations. The skills & experience needed as Accountant A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related subject. At least 3 years’ experience as an accountant. Fluency in English for effective communication within our global team. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide insights for decision making. Strong time and project management skills. High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Problem-solving skills and a keen eye for resolving discrepancies. Experienced in keeping up with changes in audit requirements and tax laws.
