POSITION SUMMARY

This role is critical direct report to the CEO, responsible for providing the financial visibility and operational insights needed to drive strategic decisions. The position ensures the CEO remains fully informed on company financial matters by compiling, analyzing, and presenting information on receivables, payables, invoice statuses, cash flow, and forecast components. This role in hands-on, analytical, and requires the ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, reporting or operational finance roles..
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to summarize complex information for execution for executive review.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, especially Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, charts, Power Query / Power Pivot Plus), and strong skills in PowerPoint and Word for report preparation.
  • Experience preparing visual financial reports, charts, and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a hands-on approach to digging into data.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion in dealing with sensitive information.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and provide detailed updates to the CEO on accounts payable, and invoice statuses.
  • Compile and maintain rolling forecasts, integrating key financial and operational metrics to give the CEO a complete view of business performance.
  • Develop, prepare, and present financial reports, dashboards, graphs, and diagrams that clearly communicate trends, variances, and opportunities.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot financial matters or operational concerns as directed by the CEO, conducting deep-dive analyses to identify root causes and propose solutions.
  • Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure data integrity and timely reporting.
  • Create ad-hoc reports and analyses to support strategic initiatives or respond to CEO inquiries.
  • Enhance existing reporting processes and implement new tools as needed, especially leveraging Microsoft Excel and other MS 365 applications.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation of analyses, ensuring transparency and easy retrieval.
