This role can be based in our Newcastle or Sydney office. More about the role Take ownership of the month-end close process, including the preparation of comprehensive financial packages, variance analysis, and reporting for the Board and Executive Committee. Support the firm's financial strategy by managing quarterly forecasts, supporting the annual budget process, and overseeing daily cash flow projections. Ensure statutory integrity by managing BAS, FBT, and Income Tax returns, while coordinating workers' compensation, payroll tax compliance, and annual audits. Manage the firm’s asset register, lease coordination, and partner capital contributions, while partnering with the CFO and FC on high-priority special projects. More about you You will have experience in professional services (accounting or legal preferred) with relevant tertiary qualification for the role and have completed or be near completing a CA or CPA. To be successful you will be a logical thinker with the ability to problem solve in a commercially focussed way. Attention to details, time management skills and excellent communication are all essential for the role.
