Position Overview:As an Accountant at Liali Events, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and stability of our business. You will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all accounting standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and possess a strong understanding of financial principles.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the events or related industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Manage and reconcile bank statements.
  • Process invoices and handle vendor payments.
  • Monitor and manage company expenses.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns and ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation for audits.
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
  • Continuously analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement.
