Your tasks

• You process incoming and outgoing invoices, check their accuracy, and ensure timely posting in the system.
• In the accounts payable department, you check invoices, resolve discrepancies, and handle payment approvals and reminders.
• In the accounts receivable department, you will support the recording of incoming payments, the reconciliation of customer accounts, and the processing of outstanding items.
• You will assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, particularly through accurate bookkeeping and account maintenance.
• If questions arise, you will be in contact with internal specialist departments or external partners and help clarify accounting matters.
• Furthermore, you will support the digitization and optimization of accounting processes, such as document or invoice workflows.

This is what you bring with you

• Completed commercial training (e.g., industrial clerk, office clerk) or studies with a focus on accounting/finance.
• First practical experience in accounting
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; ideally, some experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, DATEV, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Careful, structured work style and a good understanding of numbers
• Strong communication skills and teamwork skills
• Good German skills, both spoken and written; English is an advantage.
