QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, desired
  • Certification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA part-qualified) preferred

EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

  • Extensive of accounting experience, preferably in a small to medium-sized company.
  • Proven experience in: Supplier and customer reconciliations, Bank reconciliations, Payroll processing, Double-entry accounting, Using Xero
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 0900 – 1730, fully onsite role
Location: London, Holborn
Contract: Full Time and Permanent

ROLE SUMMARY:

The postholder will be responsible for managing a variety of core accounting responsibilities and contribute to efficient financial operations in a dynamic business environment.

ROLE DUTIES:

  • Perform supplier and customer account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations on a regular basis to maintain up-to-date and accurate records.
  • Process and manage monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.
  • Handle double-entry bookkeeping and ensure accurate posting of financial transactions.
