JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of GCC experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in the construction, oil & gas, or industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, VAT/tax compliance, and hands-on experience with accounting software.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant GCC experience, preferably in the construction or industrial sector.
  • Solid understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting/ERP software and MS Excel.

KEY SKILLS:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT/tax compliance, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and cost monitoring.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

    Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per mont
Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
  • Handle VAT/tax returns, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, and assist in audits.
  • Process invoices, payments, payroll, and expense claims in a timely manner.
  • Monitor cash flow, bank transactions, and petty cash management.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for financial audits and reporting.
  • Coordinate with project teams to track project costs, billing, and revenue recognition.
  • Assist management with financial analysis and decision-making support.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, suppliers, and clients regarding financial matters.
