Our centralized accounting department, which serves multiple locations throughout the Midwest, is looking for an individual that is professional, self-motivated, team-orientated, and organized with the ability and desire to get the job done. As our Accountant, you will… Support monthly close process including reconciling of accounts to general ledger Manipulate large amounts of data in excel to produce effective summaries and journal entries Maintain vendor information and prepare information returns for review Maintain contesting records and ensure compliance with reporting requirements and disclosure regulations Assist with fixed asset record maintenance Prepare other governmental reports including personal property tax returns and sales and use tax returns for review Assist in the company’s financial audits Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, vendors and others in a professional and courteous manner Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies Midwest Communications, Inc. is proud to be an equal opportunity employer by choice.
